Special Education Handbook

This handbook is a guide for special education directors working in Alaska.  Its purpose is to clarify requirements for the operation of district special education programs.  This document should be used in conjunction with the federal Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and the Alaska Administrative Code to implement special education programming in Alaskan public schools.
