Summer Food Service Program

Training

SFSP Regulations require that all sponsors annually attend State Agency training, and they must train all administrative staff and site staff before they undertake their responsibilities.

The Alaska Department of Education & Early Development, Child Nutrition Programs provides Summer Food Service Program training each spring. New and Returning Sponsors will be notified annually (usually in January) when training dates have been established. Training sessions are offered in Anchorage and via distance delivery (teleconference).

2013 Annual SFSP Training

Anchorage Location: BP Energy Center, 900 E. Benson Blvd
March 7, 2013            8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
March 8, 2013            8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. optional round table for large agencies

Distance Delivery: Call will originate from DEED, Child Nutrition Programs
March 13, 2013          9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
