Frameworks Project 2003
In 2003, a team of Alaska educators began updating the original 1997 Frameworks.
The work focused on reading, writing (formerly called English/Language Arts),
mathematics and science. A new interface was created to make the web-based Frameworks
more quickly accessed by teachers and curriculum writers. The Alaska Performance
Standards were included, standard links for culture, library and employability
were added. The website provides direct links to the former Frameworks and access
to the content areas that have not yet been updated.
