3066 - Alcohol-related

Definition
Those involved in the incident were under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident or there is evidence of drinking having occurred, based on testing or investigation of a police officer at the scene, or if the incident is somehow related to possession, use, or sale of alcohol. Do not use this code if the main offense during the incident was possession, use, or sale of alcohol. In that case, report as an alcohol offense (use code 1000 in Appendix P).
