Bartleby Verse: American & English Poetry 1250-1920 The Bartleby project has put online the complete text of The Oxford Book of English Verse, 1919; Yale Book of American Verse, 1912; Modern British Poetry, 1920; Modern American Poetry, 1919; Metaphysical Lyrics & Poems of the 17th Century, 1921; and The Golden Treasury, 1921. Searchable, and indexes include chronologic, author, title, and first line.

Electronic Poetry Center (EPC) This gateway to resources in electronic poetry and poetics, based at State University of New York at Buffalo, focuses on contemporary experimental poetry. It is a combination library, scholarly forum, information clearinghouse, and digital poetry publisher. Its Author pages include biographical information, lists of publications, and samples of the authors' work. Most sound files require RealAudio; help screens are provided for other formats.

Modern American Poetry A collection of over 150 poets that "includes excerpts from interesting analyses of poems, biographical information, relevant illustrations (such as book jackets, broadsides, paintings, drawings, comics, and photographs), manuscripts, drafts of poems, bibliographies, historical background, statements on poetics, interviews, mini-essays on important issues pertinent to the poet, book reviews, archival resources, and study questions." The alphabetical list of poets also contains the themes Angel Island Poetry and Japanese American Concentration Camp Haiku. A multimedia companion to the Anthology of Modern American Poetry published by Oxford Press, 2000.

Poetry Daily A new poem is posted daily. "Poems are chosen from the work of a wide variety of poets published in the English language. The daily poem is selected for its topical or seasonal interest, as well as for its literary quality." Past poems are archived for a year and arranged by author, title, or date used. Representative Poetry On-line: Version 2.06 - A historical anthology of English poetry, from the early medieval period to the beginning of the twentieth century, which includes over 2100 poems by more than 330 authors. Sonnet Central Created as a labor of love, for poetry lovers, this extensive collection of English language sonnets can be approached from different points: an alphabetical list of authors, by time period for sonnets from Great Britain, and by geographical area for everywhere else - including nineteenth and twentieth century American.
