The Department of Education & Early Development has developed web-based, interactive training courses for educators and parents on special education topics.
The SPED Eligibility Categories eLearning course offers educators and parents the opportunity to:
- Understand the specific eligibility criteria
- Learn about accommodations and modifications for the classroom
- Identify different types of teaching techniques
- Gain knowledge of available community supports and assessment options
This SPED Eligibility Categories eLearning course includes all 14 categories:
