The program consists of two sessions: the on-site academic remediation for all centers and the academic enrichment that will be offered either at school sites or at the Boys and Girls Clubs. The mission of the program is to create CLCs that have a strong academic focus and to provide high-risk secondary students with engaging academic, enrichment, cultural and recreational activities as well as literacy and related educational development to families of these students.
